If you're reading this blog you may be acquainted with S.P. as a writer of fiction and a propagator of the paranormal. However, the author wears many different hats.

By night creating works to raise the goosebumps of adults and children alike, by day S.P. works as the Head of the Department of Kinesiology at Mississippi State University.

Kinesiology is the study of movement. It touches upon the sciences of biomechanics, anatomy, physiology, psychology, and neuroscience. Many kinesiologists go on to such professions as physical therapy, sports medicince, physical educators, researchers and clinicians.

A lifelong advocate of exercise as medicine, S.P. feels strongly about the impact that kinesiologists have on their professions and on the people they help.
