My Top 10 Fantasy Novels Vs. YouTube's

Hello purveyors of fantasy novels!

I hope you all are enjoying a pleasant Sunday and nice Mother's Day, I know I am! You can usually find me on a morning like this sitting on my back porch and taking in the hot but breezy Mississippi morning. My wife of 30 years and I, having long done our child rearing (ha! does it ever really end?), like to sit on the porch swing and have our coffee while surveying the kingdom (kingdom of squirrels that is).

And that brings us to the topic at hand! Being a professor and novelist, it stands to reason that I love to read and write. And since I have the free time on my weekends to enjoy the back porch, I also take this time to catch up on the weekly reading that doesn't involve editing or exercise. So what do I read? Why fantasy and sci-fi of course! And a little historical drama to liven things up. While enjoying another one of my all-american pastimes, that of surfing the internet, I stumbled on this video detailing the TOP 10 FANTASY BOOKS OF ALL TIME! Enjoy the video, and enjoy my own list of Top 10 Fantasy Novels. Let's imagine that YouTube and I will have an epic showdown later on to figure out who's list is better.

My List:
